SELF -PORTRAIT

This is a picture of myself while in college, which I took with my friend Sam while we were hanging out together. I like this one because it shows me in a new stage of my life, and with a friend. Friends have always been a very important part of my life and I consider them a part of who I am, making them integral to my "self portrait."

This is a picture I took back in highschool with two of my good friends after we returned from a concert. It shows my past self, the one still in high school, and the friends I had there who made me who I was.

This is a picture I took of me and my sister's hands and charm bracelets after my Graduation. Just as my friends are integral to who I am today, even more so are my family members. My family is there with me through transitions and all steps of life, like during Graduation, when this was shot. Also, my charm bracelet is made up of charms that I have gathered over my entire life, each with its own meaning and memories. In that way, the bracelet in and of itself is a "self-portrait."
